Breaking News! Your wait is over as Riverdale is back with another season of mysteries, heartbreaks, and love. According to our sources, the series season 5 has been wrapped up with 19 episodes on The CW. The show has continued to become more and more popular with each season despite growing criticism. The series was amongst the top 10 in the US charts when season 4 dropped. This was the good news, there’s also great news as season 6 is already renewed and is set to release in November 2021, but we will only tell you about season 5 in this article.
Why is Season 5 late on Netflix in all regions?
Due to the pandemic all the productions- be it television or Cinema, came to a halt, affecting the schedules and releases for various projects. Riverdale is no exception as it got delayed from its original release schedule in October, on The CW.
It was because of Covid-19 that we saw fewer episodes in season 4 of the series, which will also be the case in season.
So after a very long wait, the show finally began airing in the US from January 2021.
The final schedule of Season 5 of Riverdale on Netflix:
Netflix will continue with the Riverdale series with its original title throughout its International domains. As we know that Netflix releases its episodes shortly after its US premiere on The CW, so we know that we will be able to watch Riverdale again from January 2021 as well.
When will The US be able to see The Series Season 5 in the United States?
The US will have considerably more time to wait for season 5. Season 4 showed up on Netflix around a week after Season three finale in May 2020. We are hoping that the same is the case with season 5.
Most shows from The CW mostly come around 9 days after their finale date. If this is the case with Riverdale season 5, we should be able to see the show’s fifth season in October 2021.
Although Riverdale season 5 was not included in the October PR lineup, we will keep you updated as and when we get an official release date.
In case you’re stressed over Riverdale possibly leaving Netflix US, don’t worry as it’s here to stay on Netflix for the show’s lifetime and additional years from thereon. With season 6 restored, that implies Riverdale will not leave Netflix until 2027.
Who is the cast of the series?
With the returning cast that includes Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, KJ Apa, Cole Spouse, Madellaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, Madchen Amick, Charles Melton, and Casey Cott who have been the series regular from the very first season of the show, Drew Ray Tanner who plays Fangs Fogarty will be seen again in season 5. Like you, we are eagerly waiting for the Serie’s season 5 to release and see the story of Riverdale unfold and unravel its deepest, darkest secrets.
