Following the recent casting of The Sopranos warhorse Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza (Ingrid Goes West) has officially joined the ensemble cast of HBO’s forthcoming alternate season of The White Lotus. After starring in FX’s Legion and Parks and Recreation, the dark comedy series marks Plaza’s rearmost major Television design.

Plaza is set to portray the regular series part of Harper Spiller, a woman on holiday with her hubby and his musketeers. Season 1 star Jennifer Coolidge is also bruited to return for the alternate investiture The forthcoming alternate season is set to take place in a new position and will be introducing a whole new set of characters. The coming chapter leaves Hawaii before and follows a different group of vacationers as they spurt to another White Lotus property and settle in temporarily amongst its occupants.

The series is a social lampoon set at an exclusive Hawaiian resort. “ It follows the recesses of colorful hostel guests over a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise,” reads the synopsis. “ But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect trippers, the hostel’s cheerful workers, and the idyllic locale itself.”

The White Lotus was created, written, and directed by Mike White ( Enlightened). It’s administrative produced by White, David Bernard, Mark Kamine, and Nick Hall The first season starred Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Natasha Rothwell, Steve Zahn, Sydney Sweeney, Brittany O’Grady, Jake Lacy, Alexandra Daddario, Molly Shannon, Jennifer Coolidge, and Fred Hechinger.
