The travel industry numbers have rejected the latest steps by the US and the UK to reopen the trip.
The new Taskforce will be arranged to make recommendations on easing restrictions as part of the “Atlantic Charter”, arranged to be agreed on Thursday.
A statement number 10 said the Prime Minister and President would “work to launch the UK-US journey as soon as possible”.
But Virgin Atlantic boss said the announcement “Falls Short”.
Shai Weiss’s executive said: “The creation of the Atlantic Taskorce is a positive recognition of the importance of the UK-US travel corridor and the first step towards reopening the sky.”
But he said a lack of a certain time frame to reopen the trip which means airline, business and passengers face a lack of certainty.
Towards the beginning of the G7 Summit in Cornwall, Mr Weiss urged Biden and Mr. Johnson to allow Trans-Atlantic trips no later than July 4.

What are the current rules about US-UK trips?
Almost all passengers from England are now prohibited from traveling to the US.
In the president’s decree introduced last March, a non-US citizen who had been in the UK in the last 14 days could not enter the state unless certain exemption applies.
Meanwhile, travelers from the US to England have to isolate themselves for 10 days on arrival because this country is in the “Amber list”.

Clive Wratten, chief executive business travel association, also called for a strong commitment on the date.
“We welcome the formation of the Atlantic Charter 2021 as a step in the right direction for the transatlantic trip.
“However, this is the latest in the long line of travel assignments that have so far only bring further destruction in our industry. Jobs will not be saved, or protected livelihoods, until we are given certainty of international dating trips.”
A spokesman for the British travel agent association said that “the steps to get a trip begins again very welcomed”. But he also showed a lack of detail in the announcement.
He added: “Considerations must also be given to take advantage of the success of the launch of the British vaccine by calming the rules for individuals who are fully vaccinated when traveling between low-risk areas, as the US has done, and many other countries.”

The task of the task will be supervised in the UK with the transportation of Secretary Grant Shapps and will be chaired by senior officials in the US and England.
This will “work to explore the option to continue the US-UK journey and ensure that the British and we have thought and expertise in international travel policies in the future”, said Downing Street in a statement.
