Gru and the minions returned because universal images and illumination announced the release date for the Fourth Despicable Me film.

Despicable Me 4 will arrive at the cinema on July 3, 2024, and will see Steve Carell, Christian WIIG, Pierre CoFTin, Miranda Cosgrove, and Steve Coogan all returned in the original role starring. The film will be directed by Chris Renaud, who also directed the first two despicable films, with Patrick Halling Co-directed scripts from Mike White. There is no detail about the film that has been revealed first.

Along with the news of Despicable Me 4, illumination and Universal also announced that migration, the original animated film from lighting, will release in theaters on June 30, 2023. The film will follow the story of the duck family, with lighting describing it as “modern comedy after a convincing duck family Their father was too protective to go on vacation for life when they tried to migrate from New England, through New York City, and finally went down to the Bahamas.

Migration will be produced by the founder of Chris Meledandri’s illumination and directed by Oscar Nominee Benjamin Renner (Ernest et Célestine), with the original scenario by Mike White.
