BENSEL, Diesel Prices Today: Today’s Gasoline Prices, on April 23, Saturday, unchanged for the 17th day in a row, according to the notification by the state-owned oil marketing company (OMCS). Diesel prices also did not change that day, according to the notice. The price of fuel cars has reached the highest point of all time in a few months and has been operating amid inflation recordings throughout the country. The high fuel price has affected ordinary people, which bear the burden of the overall price increase, caused by the increase in gasoline and diesel prices.
According to the price notice of fuel retailers, gasoline in Delhi costs Rs 105.41 per liter and Diesel Rs 96.67 per liter. In Mumbai, the price of gasoline and diesel per liter stands each -masing at Rs 120.51 and Rs 104.77. In Chennai, the cost of gasoline was 110.85 per liter and Diesel Rs 100.94 per liter. The price of gasoline in Kolkata stands at RS 115.12 per liter and Diesel is being sold at Rs 99.83 per liter in the city.
Prices of gasoline and diesel vary from one country to the state depending on many factors. Some of them include daily changes in international crude oil prices and foreign exchange fluctuations, and different taxation levels in different states. Transportation costs are also one of the main reasons for various fuel prices throughout the country.
In the midst of the high price of gasoline and diesel fuel, oil minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday said oil marketing companies took autonomous decisions about retail prices. After the election, when the price review began, the increase was only rs 10 per liter which was far less than the other, he said, it added that the ministry also realized inflation concerns. The Minister urges countries that do not rule BJP to reduce value added tax (PPN) on petroleum products to provide assistance to consumers, shows that the center has reduced its duties in one action.
International crude oil prices slipped on Friday, posted a weekly loss of nearly 5 percent because Brent’s crude settled down $ 1.68, or 1.6 percent, at a price of $ 106.65 per barrel. The US Texas West Texas (WTI) intermediary fell $ 1.72, or 1.7 percent, to $ 102.07, according to the report by Reuters.
